Humanizing Teachers
- (Question 1) Why did you choose the teaching profession?
- Answer: I chose to be a teacher because I want to have the opportunity to make a difference the lives of students. To inspire, guide, support, and build the confidence to succeed!
- (Question 2) How would your students describe you?
- Answer: My students have told me that I am nice, helpful, sweet, and my computer class is fun.
- (Question 3) What is the role of the teacher in the classroom?
- Answer: The teacher’s role is to help the students learn, give information, guide, and provide a place where they can succeed.
- (Question 4) What would a visitor in your class see?
- Answer: A visitor would see me talking to the students (giving lessons), walking around, praising students, calling out students that are not doing what they are supposed to, and most importantly helping students learn!
